Life Skills - The LINKS Programme

We recognise the importance of developing young women who demonstrate a range of abilities above and beyond their academic achievements. Our LINKS programme provides all girls with the enrichment experiences required to prepare them for life beyond Princess Helena College. These include independence of thought, self-confidence, teamwork, effective communication and problem solving.

Throughout her school career each girl will be challenged by this comprehensive programme which focuses on:

It aims to encourage girls to be outward looking, to take on responsibility and to be considerate and understanding of others.

Girls are encouraged to take part in community service and charity work; to broaden their life experiences. They are also encouraged to take an active interest in current affairs, be mindful of the environment, aware of religions and faiths and to understand the political system.

As Year 13 students leave Princess Helena College we hope to have prepared them to enjoy university life to the full, to be successful in their studies and to thrive in the wider world.
