Sixth Form Activities

Sixth formers are strongly encouraged to maintain a wide and varied extra-curricular activities programme, not only to ensure that they develop as fully rounded individuals, but also to help them compile a 'Record of Achievement' that will increase their chances of successful university or job applications. There is a huge range on offer at Princess Helena College, including the following:
Aerobics and Fitness (in our Fitness suite), debating, dance, drama, CCF, Clay Pigeon Shooting, Duke of Edinburgh, Horse Riding, LAMDA, LIfe Drawing, Life Saving, Photography, Trampolining, Young Enterprise and a wide variety of choirs, bands and sports

Leadership

There are many opportunities to develop influencing, decision and policy making leadership skills in the sixth form. Sixth formers are role models for the younger pupils and they are involved in the day to day running of the school. They will assist with organising House activities, supervising sporting and musical events, and assuming an active role on the Prefect Team and Student Council.
