Small Classes
All sixth form classes are small, which ensures that each student has the opportunity to take part in lively discussions and debates. Participating in group discussions encourages students to think for themselves, to put their arguments across in a logical and convincing manor and to listen to the views of others. The similarities between this and the University tutorial system provides invaluable experience for sixth formers. Small classes also ensure that students receive the relevant academic support and are pushed to achieve beyond their potential.
Tutorial Support
All sixth formers have an Academic Tutor who is there to support and monitor their academic progress and who acts as mentor and guide to ensure their sixth form experience is productive and well rounded for them as an individual. Sixth formers meet their Tutors each week
Sixth formers are encouraged to develop a more pro-active learning style, improve their communication skills and learn to practise critical evaluation and analysis.
