Sixth Form Learning

The sixth form teaching style is markedly different to lower down the school and is an excellent preparation for the move to higher education. The classes are small and are designed to encourage lively discussion and debates.

All sixth formers are supported by their Personal Tutor whom they meet with each week.

We believe that an all-round education plays a crucial role in preparing girls for exam success, higher education and life.

We pride ourselves on ensuring that each girl discovers and develops her individual interests and talents.

We offer a wealth of extracurricular activities, opportunities, trips and experiences. We continually enhance the range offered, so that girls experience new and relevant challenges throughout their school life.

Girls are fully involved in activities such as dance, drama, music and sport. Practising, performing and competing in areas such as these helps to instil self-discipline and enables girls to gain self-confidence.

Trips and Visits

Life is busy at Princess Helena College. Each year numerous trips and visits are organised for girls as part of their curriculum, to supplement their learning or just for fun!
