Scholarships are awarded to girls who we believe have potential for academic excellence or outstanding achievements in other areas.

A range of Scholarships, awarded by the Headmistress, are available at Princess Helena College. Earning the title of Scholar is a major achievement and one of which both parents and daughter should be very proud.  As well as the kudos of being a scholar, girls awarded scholarships will be assigned a scholarship mentor to guide and extend their learning. All Scholars benefit from inclusion in the relevant Scholars’ programme.

The following scholarships are available:

· Academic Scholarships

· Creative Scholarships in art, drama, dance, music and sport

Application forms for our Scholarships can be obtained from the Registrar and will be available in the Autumn Term.

Scholarships are awarded in Years 6 (for Years 7-9), Year 9 (for Years 10 and 11) and Year 11 (for Years 12 and 13).

The Headmistress may also award discretionary scholarships to girls joining the school at other times.

Scholars will be expected to make a significant contribution to school life through their enthusiasm and commitment to the particular area for which they have been recognised and the college reserves the right to withdraw scholarships from girls who do not meet these expectations.

We offer bursaries for families whose capable, talented daughters merit a place, but who need financial support to access a first class education at Princess Helena College. For more details please see our Bursaries page in this section.
