"Outstanding" Ofsted Report

Princess Helena College has been rated "Outstanding" in a recent inspection:

"This is an outstanding service in every respect … All outcomes are recorded as being outstanding."

Ofsted currently inspects the pastoral and boarding aspects of independent schools under five headings: helping children to be healthy; protecting children from harm and helping them to stay safe; helping children to achieve and enjoy what they do; helping children to make a positive contribution, and achieving economic wellbeing.

The overall quality of our pastoral and boarding provision was considered ‘Outstanding', and the College was rated ‘Outstanding' in each of the five individual areas inspected, which is not common.

Mrs Duncan commented, "I am delighted by this report and my thanks go to all the staff at PHC, and particularly the pastoral, boarding, medical, catering and facilities teams, for their hard work in providing such a high standard of care for our girls."
