Why Board?

Life at a girls' boarding school brings many advantages. Girls benefit from a strong sense of community, the enjoyment of living with friends and the chance to develop skills of independence and responsibility. Boarding provides older girls with structured time for demanding examination work, it offers plenty of choices of sporting and leisure activities, and the freedom to organise their own time too. Boarding helps prepare girls for university as the option of community living provides invaluable experience.

Sixth Form Boarding

The Dower House, our superb sixth form centre, is set within  a quiet corner of the school grounds and is just 2 minutes walk from the main school. Run by House Parents Mr & Mrs Bot, it has a relaxed family atmosphere with:
  • a beautiful kitchen
  • a dining room
  • a comfortable common room
  • a fully equipped ICT suite
  • a dedicated study rooms
  • individual bedrooms with study facilities

Weekend Programme

The Weekend Programme provides overseas pupils with a great insight into life in Great Britain as well as being fun and sociable activities. It consists of ten trips offered to overseas pupils as part of their fee but all pupils are welcome to join us for an additional charge.
