Why Board?

Life at a girls' boarding school brings many advantages. Girls benefit from a strong sense of community, the enjoyment of living with friends and the chance to develop skills of independence and responsibility. Boarding provides older girls with structured time for demanding examination work, it offers plenty of choices of sporting and leisure activities, and the freedom to organise their own time too. Sixth Form Boarding

The Dower House, our superb sixth form house, is set within the school grounds just 2 minutes walk from the main school. Run by House Parents Mr & Mrs Bot, it has a relaxed family atmosphere with:
  • a beautiful new extended kitchen
  • a dining room
  • a common room
  • a new ICT suite
  • a new study areas
  • individual bedrooms with study facilities

Weekend Programme

The Weekend Programme provides overseas pupils with a great insight into life in Great Britain as well as being fun and sociable activities. It consists of ten trips offered to overseas pupils as part of their fee but all pupils are welcome to join us for an additional charge.

Keeping In Touch

All girls have access to landline telephones, as well as being able to use their own mobiles. Parents can also contact their daughters by letter, fax or email and the school has wireless internet access throughout. Newly installed web cameras enable families to keep in close personal contact.
