Volunteering

Community service forms an important part of each girl's education. Participation in the scheme fosters a sense of responsibility and the opportunity to devote time and attention to help others enhances a girl's appreciation and understanding of the wider community in which she lives.

Some environments are very challenging and the manner in which girls are able to cope with situations goes a long way to helping them understand their own strengths, personalities and characters.

• Local Primary and Nursery schools
• MENCAP Summer Camps
• Groups for riding and swimming with the disabled

Our class of 2012 is also embarking on an Olympic themed fundraising programme, linking up with schools around the world.
