Eureka Introduction

$counter

Eureka is a unique project hosted by Princess Helena College. It aims to promote an interest in science and science skills in local primary school children. It is also designed to give local primary schools more access to science equipment and facilities.

The scheme is free for schools to participate in and it aims to generate an interest in science amongst school children aged 8 to 10 – to further ignite their interest in the subject!

A number of local primary schools have joined us to take part in the scheme, including pupils from Ashwell and Kimpton.

Princess Helena College benefits from a fantastic science centre that was opened in 2003 by HRH the Duchess of Gloucester (our President). Science is a strength at the school, with both the individual sciences (Biology, Chemistry & Physics) and the double award being offered at GCSE. We are fortunate to have excellent teachers, facilities and opportunities that we can share with members of the local primary school community.Registered Charity No: 311064
