CHIPS charity donation
The Parents' Fundraising Committee was delighted to present a cheque for over £1,600 to the CHIPS charity today.
Mrs Louise Smith, Chair of the PFRC, gave the cheque to Mrs Laura Honour, Trustee of CHIPS, at the final assembley of the year. Mrs Honour gave an interesting presentation on the work of CHIPS, which provides integrated playschemes for children with additional needs. She talked about the great value of the schemes to children who often led very structured lives and also encouraged the girls here to consider volunteering for the scheme.
