20 girls took part in an Informal Dance Display during lunch break on Monday, which was watched by at least 20 other PHC girls. It was a display of work performed by dance students and included ballet, jazz and modern dance styles. It was a chance for girls to show the work they have learnt since the beginning of term.
The hip hop dance club also performed a routine, which was choreographed by Marina Lawrence-Mahrra. "It was half an hour of energy and elegance. The girls all performed with such enthusiasm and showed style and grace. The Year 7 girls were extremely nervous, butdanced with such energy. The ballet exercises were graceful and poised and showed real technical excellence. A fantastic display - well done girls."
