Welll done to Year 7, who had their first lacrosse tournament on Saturday at Abbot's Hill.
Their first match was against St George's, which they lost 2-1, but they worked exceptionally hard and won the rest of their games, coming second in their section.
They then met North London Collegiate, who had won their section, in the semi-final. This was a very exciting match which was drawn 1-1 at full time. The match continued to 6 minutes' extra time, when it was still a draw, and then moved on to "sudden death". The girls ended up playing a half hour semi-final! Unfortunately, they lost on a penalty and so just missed out on the final.
The most valued player could not be decided and so the whole team was nominated!
Good luck for the County Tournament which takes place on 12 March.
