Year 8 Discover Cromwell
Year 8 visited Oliver Cromwell's house in Ely and Ely Cathedral as part of their study of the English Civil War in history.

At the house, they learned about Cromwell's complexity and how opinion is divided as to whether or not he was a national hero.
In the Cathedral, girls enjoyed gazing at the wonderful paintings on the ceiling, hearing about the fascinating history of the Cathedral, and exploring and reflecting on its symbolism.
