Delight as Students Receive GCSE Results
GCSE results day yielded yet another set of excellent results for girls from Princess Helena College. Still celebrating after a record set of A-level results last week, today's GCSE results did nothing to abate the excitement as 100% of girls achieved 5 or more A*-C grades with 86% at A*-B grade and 58% A*-A grades.
Students once again demonstrated a broad range of talents with 100% A*-B grades being achieved in French, Latin, Music, Dance, Sports Science and Classical Civilisation, and 100% A* grades attained in Religious Studies.
Headmistress, Mrs Jo-Anne Duncan, who joined Princess Helena College in 2008, said “I am thrilled for the students who have achieved A*s and As and I'm equally pleased for those students for whom a run of Bs and Cs marks a great achievement and I congratulate those girls warmly and with just as much pleasure.”
