Princess Helena College - Overseas Students

Introduction

Each year a small number of girls join us from overseas. We welcome girls from other cultures and delight in the richness of our community of our English boarding school.

The Weekend Programme provides overseas pupils with a great insight into life in Great Britain as well as being fun and sociable activities. It consists of ten trips offered to overseas pupils as part of their fee but all pupils are welcome to join us for an additional charge.

English as an Additional Language

Approximately 6% of our girls have English as a foreign language. To help them settle and achieve their academic potential, curriculum support is offered by members of our EAL (English as an Additional Language) Department. Girls take a wide range of examinations including the First Certificate and IELTS.
